Wild Sage & Roast Onion wholemeal stuffing mix is a proper family favourite. Built on wholemeal breadcrumbs and rusk for a rich, nutty base, it’s packed with roasted onion flakes for sweetness and depth, lifted with onion and seasoned generously with English sage and wild sage for that unmistakable, comforting aroma.

 

Ingredients

Wholemeal Breadcrumbs (Whole Wheat Flour, Salt, Yeast) 62%, Wholemeal Rusk (Whole Wheat Flour, Salt, Yeast) 21%, Roasted Onion Flake 8%, Onion Flake 4%, English Sage 2%, Wild Sage, Onion Salt, Yeast Powder (Barley, Wheat, Sulphites).‎

Including Cereals, Gluten, Barley, Wheat, Sulphites. This product is not suitable for individuals with nut allergies due to the production methods. ‎

How to use

Mix the contents of the packet with 300ml of boiling water and optionally, 25g of butter for flavour. Stir well and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
Place in an ovenproof dish in the centre of the oven or form into balls and bake on a baking tray.

Bake for 20 mins at 200°C / Gas Mark 6.
Microwave oven full power:
Cat B 650w 3 mins • Cat E 850w 2.5 mins.

Recipe Tip – For a meaty stuffing, mix one pack of Shropshire Spice Stuffing with 500g of sausage meat or pork mince and 130ml of water.
Stir well and bake as above but for 20–25 mins until golden brown.
Juices run clear. ‎
